You're in control of your information. You can ask GetClerk (a product of Afrimont Enterprises) to permanently delete the personal information we hold about you at any time, free of charge.

01What gets deleted

When we action your request, we permanently remove the personal information linked to your account, including:

Your name, WhatsApp number, email and business profile.
The receipts, slips and invoice images you sent us, and the data we read from them.
Your jobs, labour entries, quotes, invoices and client details.
Your WhatsApp conversation history with GetClerk.

What we may keep: we may retain a limited set of records where the law requires it — for example financial and tax records we're obliged to keep under SARS rules, or information needed to resolve a dispute. Anything retained is kept only for as long as the law requires and is then deleted.

02Two ways to request deletion

Send a deletion request from the email or with the WhatsApp number on your account so we can verify it's you.

Your email app should have opened with the request. Just press send and we'll take it from there. If nothing opened, email us directly at [email protected].

04What happens next

We'll verify the request is genuinely from you (using the WhatsApp number on the account).
We action verified deletions within 30 days and confirm by email when it's done.
Deletion is permanent — your records can't be recovered afterwards, so download anything you want to keep first.
